This is the best tail brush you will ever own. Made with flexible bristles, this tail brush will help to detangle your horse’s tail without leaving behind a trail of precious hairs. Step 1:
Use a fine mist of detangling spray and work it through the tail from the head to the base.

Step 2:
Section off the tail. Start at the bottom of the first section and gently brush your way up to the tail head in short gentle strokes working through knots along the way.

For best results, make sure your horse’s tail is clean.

Fill a pan with water and dish detergent. Place your brushes bristle down in pan. Waterline should be just below wood blocks (do not submerge wood block in water). Oscillate each brush in the water without getting the wood block wet; this will loosen dirt and debris. Soak brushes for one hour. Rinse bristles with water only and air-dry with bristles facing down. It is recommended that brushes be cleaned once a month if you are grooming daily.
